"At M8, we’re leading the way toward more sustainable practices in kitchen cabinetry. Founded on a philosophy of sustainability, environmental consciousness is at the core of our business. The green mantra has long been “Reduce, reuse, recycle,” but most manufacturers have focused on the recyclable aspects of their products. While M8 cabinetry is nearly one hundred percent recyclable, we believe true green manufacturing must incorporate environmentally sustainable materials and processes throughout the manufacturing cycle."
"At M8, we have designed our cabinetry to allow for maximum recycling of all components at the time a project is dismantled. M8 will take back the original cabinets, dismantle them, and return the individual components to our vendors for refabrication into new M8 products. The typical kitchen gets torn out and replaced every six to eight years. With this in mind, it is at least as important to find ways to extend the life of existing products as it is to recycle those being discarded. M8 cabinetry lets homeowners dramatically change the appearance of their kitchen without remodeling—the number one reason for removing existing cabinetry."
